I have officially created my first successful bowl of protein fluff. I have made numerous attempts at making the mysterious ‘protein fluff’ that are shown on fitness forums, but always ended up with a runny mess of nothingness.
This time, thanks to experimentation and the help of this poster, I have finally created a successful protein fluff. But beware:
This is a job only super spoon can handle…
•2 tbsp whey protein powder (must be fat free)
•1 tbsp any protein powder
•1/2 cup cartoned egg whites
|•1/4 tsp Cream of Tar Tar (divided)
•1 tsp Xanthan Gum
•1 tsp powdered sweetner
•1/2 cup crushed frozen berries
1)Add egg whites and 1/8 tsp of cream of tar tar to mixing bowl and mix on high until stiff peaks form (around 2 min)
2)Add all remaining ingredients EXCEPT for the crushed berries. Mix on high for 2 minutes. The peaks will collapse some.
3)Add crushed frozen berries. Mix on high for 3 more minutes.

|If you are looking for a way to introduce more protein into your diet this is it. It is practically all protein. Approximately 150 calories. Not very balanced though.|
|Don’t expect icing, don’t expect a smoothie, expect a high protein volumous snack.|
|The texture is like something you have never experienced before. Very fluffy. Very airy. Not entirely a good thing.|
This is the first thing I have made in probably 5 years that I actually could not finish. It is so incredibly filling that it is scary (because it is mostly air). Beware you may not be able to finish it all, but it is difficult to make half size servings.
