Another WIAW with another recipe to share, but wait there’s more: two interesting links!
Breakfast looks like a brown mess but it is really my typical frozen custard breakfast. I really want to get more creative with my breakfasts. Although maybe not as creative as:
I can only wish my breakfasts looked like the above. Although I am not sure I could bear to eat it if I spent a lot of time making it look that incredible!
I find it a bit easier to be more creative for lunch/dinners. A recent creation being a Black Bean Spaghetti Soup. I have previously mentioned Explore Asia’s black bean spaghetti, but I have been loving it so much that I wanted to post a recipe this time.
Black Bean Spaghetti Soup
•56g Black Bean Spaghetti (Explore Asia)
•1 cup chicken broth
•1 cup cabbage
|•1/2 cup frozen peas
•salt, garlic, additional chicken stock powder, and rosemary to taste
|1)Bring chicken broth, seasonings and cabbage to a boil.
2)Microwave chicken breast (or use left overs if you are lucky enough to have some)
3)When cabbage is half cooked, add black bean spaghetti and cut up chicken.
4)When spaghetti is done to your liking add your frozen peas. Give everything a little swirl (frozen peas thaw fast)
|When you can make a meal all in one pot it is officially convenient||
|The only reason this isn’t A+ is because I add alot of salt.|
|I love how the black bean noodles flavour the soup base.|
|I prefer soups where there is still something to chew on. This is just that!|
I really love peas in soup.
All I have to say to that is ‘Kikiriki’! In case you need an explanation check out:

Yet the evening would not be complete without a delicious snack with my most favourite toppings!
Excuse me while I go Jick-Jick this post on Twitter
Which meal do you have the most trouble being creative with? Do you like soup with things to chew in it or do you like blended soups? Have you ever heard of any of these foreign animal sounds?
