As the title suggests: I’ve finally figured out the reason… the reason why after showering at the gym my hair is so…different than usual!
A few months ago I filled up a little bottle with shampoo I found in the bathroom to take to the gym with me. Turns out it’s dog shampoo!!

Have you ever used something thinking it was something else? (ie. someone else’s toothbrush) What is your favourite brand of Shampoo? I love Root Awakenings, but mostly because I love the smell of it!

Hahahaha oh my word that’s too funny! Once my dad accidentally ate some dog treats I had made, thinking they were cookies….let’s just say he spit it out faster than the speed of light haha!

Haha oh my gosh I’ve totally done that before!! One time my dad used some kind of ointment as toothpaste because he’s isn’t feel like turning on the lights in the bathroom. Needless to say he always turns them on now!

BAHAHAHA ohhh my goodness. My best friend says she uses horse shampoo because it makes her hair soft..I’m not sold. This is great though..problem solved..no more using puppy shampoo for you.

I love Whole Food’s lavender shampoo, because it has a holy-cow powerfully zesty lavender kick. I find that water makes more of a difference than shampoo for my hair, though. The water at my house? Leaves my hair feeling grimy, no matter what. Started showering at the gym (with same products)–problem solved.

I completely agree about water making a huge difference! I notice it more when I travel. Some water washed off shampoo really fast and easy, other water just seems to take forever (completely independent of pressure!) . My mom notices this water difference too, so don’t worry we aren’t crazy
Good! Makes me feel better that I’m not alone–my roommates keep giving me funny looks when I say our water doesn’t wash my hair…
LOL!!!!!!! oh man, hopefully it didn’t do too much damage! There are days when I’m not paying attention during my shower and I have totally put body wash in my hair instead of shampoo on accident haha. I use Mane n Tail which can also be used for horses…kind of weird but it makes my hair a lot smoother and thicker-looking!

My favourite shampoo is John Freida for curly hair, it just really works for me

Ahahahaha too funny! Did it make your hair different? I’ve never done anything similar, but my mother in law was once at a horse show, where all the port-a-potties had these white cakes in the “sink.” She “washed” her hands with them the entire week, and at the end found out that they were actually fresheners sitting in the male urinal sink. SO they’d been peed on all week. Yup. True story.
Haha oh boy, that must have been horrible for your mother in law! It did make my hair different but hard to describe, not so fluffy though!

I don’t have a dog so thankfully I’ve never done something like that. But one time I added garlic powder to my zucchini bread oatmeal instead of powdered ginger. It was GROSS! 
LOL. So weird! But you would think it wouldn’t be THAT different to dog shampoo…. I guess it is?
hahaa! that’s so funny! i sprayed deoderant in my hair once instead of hairspray! my hair went white!
