You know what makes me happy? A successful weekend.
You know what a successful weekend is? An enjoyable one.
You know my recipe for an enjoyable weekend? I’m about to tell you:
1. Enjoying winning flavour combinations
Cheddar Cheese on Pumpernickel bread
2. Buying new Holiday tea
More loose leaf tea from DavidsTea. One of their five Holiday flavours
This tea is full of dried apple and almonds. I even began to wonder if there was even any tea in there
3. Solving puzzles while enjoying lunch
Yes, I like to solve puzzles. Yes, I am aware I am a bit of a geek.
4. Going for a walk in the fall leaves

What do you do to enjoy your weekend? Do you like to solve puzzles? If so what are your favourite type?

that tea looks absolutely epic! apples and almonds as tea “leaves” sounds like it would make a really delicious drink. snow or no snow lol
sounds like a really relaxing weekend, those are the best kind! I like to read and go for walks and drink tea too!
Wow that tea looks cool! I bet it was SO delicious
Looks like you had an amazing day my friend!!
PS–I wish my legs were that long too, imagine how quick you could get to class!
Pumpernickel bread = heaven! That tea sounds so good and way better than the bagged stuff. I’ve always wanted to try loose leaf! I don’t know if I’d want my legs to be that long… all I can imagine is the creepy guys at the circus on stilts!
Aha, I totally thought the first picture was butter. But cheese is about the same is deliciousness factor
I used to love to solve sudoku. I would just spend hours and hours re-arranging the numbers oh it was so much fun. But it’s the good kind of nerdy when you do puzzles
Cheese and bread is a rather magical combination
Have you added apple onto it before? Oh my, it adds a whole new dimension of amazingness!
That tea sounds cool!
eeeeeeeeek
I need to go to David’s Tea ASAP
ahhhhhhhhhhh you got me reeeeally excited
This tea..looks..AMAZING!! WOW the chunks have me in awe. I love that last picture of the long shadow legs!
Was there any tea in there?? lol. It looks and sounds really good though! This is the perfect recipe for an enjoyable weekend
sounds like the perfect weekend to me! Hope you are enjoying it fully girl! <3
I’ve heard of Toboggan tea everywhere lately! Is that the one filled with apples and almonds?
It is filled with apples and almonds!
Your photography is impeccable! And I agree the cheddar and pumpernickel are a KILLER combination. Since my work week is so hectic, my recipe for a successful weekend is getting to spend time with my good friends, perhaps go out on saturday night, and relax on sunday- doing getting household stuff accomplished, skyping with my parents who live abroad, and preparing for the work week
I love the pictures in this post. My weekend is perfect if: I get to be social, I get to spend a night in my PJS, I get a bit of work done, and something crafty. With lots of yummy things, too (duh).
I like logic problems
That shadow picture’s stunning, love it! And the bread and cheese sounds perfect… hope you’ve had a great weekend
Haha I don’t do puzzles but I do read the paper every morning and people make fun of me for that all the time
Wow that tea looks absolutely incredible!
I am so not a puzzle person. I just don’t have the patience!
That tea! I’ve never seen anything like it!
I used to enjoy puzzles now I don’t have the time or patience.
I looove pumpernickel! I used to work at a bagel shop, and I had a pumpernickel bagel w/ PB for lunch every day. Perfection. And I may or may not be guilty of struggling through (and then giving up on) the NY Times crossword puzzle at work most days…
Sounds like an awesome weekend!! That loose leaf tea sounds amazing. I love the convenience of tea bags but loose leaf is so much more flavorful to me
Hahhaa, I just visualized someone with those super-long shadow legs running down the street and got super creeped out. And man, sometimes I forget how GOOD cheddar cheese is. Thanks for reminding me.
