First of all: thank you all for the sweet comments on Saturday’s post. Each and every comment truly makes me smile, and I appreciate it so much.

Now a days I don’t often find myself slurping down one of these.
However every once and a while I decide to enjoy a can, albeit the evening bloating can cause discomfort. How do I enjoy my pop? There is only one way for me
Mixed with chilled tea.
I try to always have cold brewed tea on hand, along with a freezer full of icecubes. That way, I can make a beverage I truly enjoy.
Let’s take a little jog away from the tea for a minute. Speaking of a jog, the next topic I wanted to touch on was exercise. It’s been awhile since I’ve written about my current fitness routines and schedule. Since work started 2 months ago, I’ve finally settled into a weekly routine that works for me. Ironically the strength training plan in The New Rules of Lifting for women fits almost perfectly into my schedule and I would like to take this opportunity to lay down my current fitness routine.
Keep in mind that most weeks depending on weather/appointments/my mood this schedule gets changed or altered. Often times something gets removed. I never force myself to go for a morning run if I’m not feeling it. The reason being: I love my mornings. I don’t want to ruin the best time of the day by doing something I don’t want to do. When a day comes along and my schedule changes I try not to sweat the small stuff and instead reflect on how strong and forgiving my body truly is.
The summer sky is unbelievably beautiful, and I am always thrilled to snap a few shots of puffy white clouds
Before I let you all go back to your daily lives (if you haven’t already left) we’re going to take a quick sneak peak at a fabulous tea that appears in tomorrow’s recipe.
Yes folks, that really is coconut tea. And just incase you were wondering it really is fabulous.

Do you ever drink pop? What’s your favorite thing to drink on a hot sunny day?

Awesome schedule and beautiful sky pics! I love taking loads of pics of the clouds too
And coconut tea?!?!?! Oh my goodness. You just blew my mind with that glorious packet. I can’t wait to hear that recipe!
Loved the verse
I love iced tea on summer days! earl grey is a good one, I like red rose for iced tea though! Looking forward to the recipe!
Coconut tea?!? I’m jealous! Now I can’t wait for the recipe
I like iced tea or coconut water on hot days, and I don’t stomach soda very well. Every time I have it, I feel all queasy.
I’m sort of really bad about diet soda… I only drink it when I go out though. I never keep it at home. I really would love to shake the habit though.
Coconut tea sounds LOVELY. I’m a hardcore black tea drinker. It’s that or my morning cup of java!
I’ve never tried mixing tea with pop, but it sounds fabulous! As does that coconut tea… Uhmmmmm where can I find me some?! I used to drink a lot of pop and it did a real number on my stomach. I gave it up about 3 years ago and haven’t had a sip since. If I’m craving something bubbly, I usually go for kombucha or sparkling water mixed with juice. Hits the spot just as well
I got the coconut tea in St. Maartan on a family vacation last summer! I don’t know what I’m going to do when I run out
I’ve never thought of mixing soda with tea but I might have to give it a try! I don’t drink soda anymore because of that bloating it gives me. I’m also a big morning lover
I love to wake up early and enjoy reading the paper, catching up on blogs, and having quiet time!
My favorite thing to drink on a hot day is raspberry iced tea all sweetened up with sugar
I very rarely drink pop, I never even liked it as a kid. The fizz is too much for me! But the drink you made actually sounds reaaallly good! And I am SO interested in coconut TEA?! AWESOME!
I prefer lemonade!!! Like, the real stuff made with sugar not high fructose corn syrup or aspartame or any of that crap.
I don’t drink a lot of pop, though I do occasionally like a Fresca (usually on car rides). I prefer lemonade mixed with plain seltzer/club soda or just seltzer with a bit of lime. And I love tea. My favorite (iced or hot) is Earl Grey, but Tazo passion is delicious too!
I kiiiind of have a diet coke addiction that I’m [not really even] fighting. But I’ve never thought about mixing pop and tea! That’s so clever!
Well you know I loooove my pop, but I never would have thought of putting tea in it, Genious!
I’ve never liked pop. On a hot, sunny day, I just drink water. Water is actually the only thing I drink.
Oohh wow – coconut tea sounds lovely! Hmm I kind of have a bad addiction to Pepsi Max..it used to be diet coke and then I converted..I know it’s not good for me but I need caffeine
